塑料粉碎机筛网采用双轴或单轴低速转动，利用刀盘对物料进行切、割、撕、拉。直连蜗轮蜗杆减速电机，直接安装在破碎机主动轴上，通过齿轮变速传至动轴，使主动轴的动刀与壳体上的静止刀盘形成相对运动。主动轴上的螺旋齿刀盘交错排列，使物料进入后，同时受到挤、撕、剪的作用，从而使物料得到破碎。
